Family Memory Jar 

We started this tradition years ago and I’m so glad we did. We have a glass jar in our living room that has small pieces of paper, and a pen, near it to write our memories down. When we go to the beach and surf, we put it in the jar. When our daughter won her first water polo game, we put it in the jar. When Casey and I hosted our couples retreat in October, we picked specific memories from that amazing weekend and put them all in the jar. We then take out all the memories and read them out loud on New Year’s Eve. It has become a wonderful tradition that our kids really enjoy and I cannot recommend highly enough getting, or making your own, memory jar for your family. We bought ours on Etsy.
